In the past 10 years, we have 4 grade of the rattan cane webbing, A / B / C / D Grade,
But now we only export the Bleached B & C grade.

Why the price of the rattan cane webbing is going up?
Reasons by the following:
1 Raw rattan material is ban for export from Indonesia. The price is go up 30%. ( All the material use for rattan cane webbing is import from Indonesia.
2 The cost of the production in China is going up year by year, about 200% than 2008.
More and more new industry is setting up in China, but the ageing of the population in China is becoming worse, so no younger people join in our rattan industry, the worker is becoming less and less.
This is the main reason that why we only export Bleached B & C grade of the rattan cane webbing now.
3 Other cost is going up year by year too. Example: land rent and tax.
Why the market is going down and down?
I think the main reason is the price of the rattan cane webbing is too high, most of the buyer will find other material to instead of it..
