We Deal With Natural Rattan Cane Webbing Problem for our customers

Our Customer is a furniture maker, and she give us some questions of rattan cane webbing ?

Customer question:

Hi Suzen, I hope you’re well. I’ve got a question on rattan, we had some quality issues with it so we want to ask how to take care of the rattan furniture:

should the customer spray it with water every 6 months
Should we use lineseed oil or some other oils to make sure it doesn’t start splitting and breaking?

My Reply is :

1)Don’t spray water every 6 months, the best maintenance for rattan is to use it frequently. The oil emitted by the human body will be absorbed by the real vine, and the more it is used, the better it will not crack.

2) Additionally, it cannot be placed outdoors, Sanato

3)natural rattan , only use indoor , dry

Customer question:

Just to recap, you recommended that the material should be kept dry, used indoors only, and used frequently, as this allows the vines to absorb the small amount of natural oil from human hands.

We wanted to ask for your thoughts on using linseed oil, or any other oils, to help keep it in good condition.

You also asked where the material is being used. In this case, it has been used on chairs. Our customer has noted that the new rattan appears much paler and breaks more easily than expected. Please see the image below and let us know your thoughts.

My Reply is :

1) In Chinese Market, we always will print furniture oil on the webbing and furniture. It will be keep the webbing can use more long time with the furniture.

2)You can use the furniture oil for it and keep good condition.

3)In the picture you attached, the webbing is good quality rattan material, but just it is long time for it, and not flash again.
And we send you the rattan webbing is bleached item. Some times it will be color more white. But bleached item can be use longer time than flash natural item.

4)We have some idea for you to deal with this problem.
