Our chair cane is most use for the rattan furniture, so the standar of the webbing will be 40 cm/ 45cm /50 cm for the chair seats and the back of the chair.

The the big size as 60cm /70cm/ 80cm just for the sofa items.

The biggest size as 90cm, 102cm will most use for the rattan project decoration.

1 ) Rattan Mat Made by Hands

Before the 2003, all the rattan mat is made by hands, one people only can weaving one piece of it. So the production of it will take too much time, the cost will be more higher.

Material : standard is 3.8-4.0 mm of the rattan peel

Not standard will be : 3.0-3.2, 3.5-3.8 mm of the rattan peel

Advantage : It is soft and easy for chair making and decoration for all the rattan project, more smooth.

As the human cost in China have  gone up year by year since 2003, more factory try to make the rattan mat by machine. It only can made 5 rolls by machine per day, but now the machine can make 11 rolls of the mat webbing ( herringbone rattan mat), show you the product picture by the following:

We use the Herringbone Rattan mat for the rattan & wicker furniture making.

Learning from the pictures, we know that the Herringbone Rattan mat can use  for the chair seats, the back of the rattan chair, the top of the table. It is very soft to make it on the rattan furniture items.

It is very easy to colored to match the furniture’s color.

2) Application as the Ceiling material for Decoration and Wall Covering

It is very common of the rattan mat as the ceiling material for the rattan project. Like the hotel or restaurants, they will decoration the ceiling with  different design to match the furniture or  the whole design.
