What is 6×6 Square Mesh Webbing?

Natural 6×6 Square Mesh is a specific type of natural cane webbing made from rattan peel. Its evenly spaced open square pattern gives furniture a lighter, more contemporary look than traditional radio weave.

It is used as an inset material for chairs, cabinet doors, screens, headboards and decorative panels. The material keeps its natural fibre texture and slight tone variation, making every finished piece feel authentic.

Important: this is an indoor natural material. For outdoor furniture, please choose dedicated PE or PVC outdoor rattan.

Is Natural 6×6 Square Mesh suitable for outdoor use?

No. It is a natural rattan material for indoor furniture and controlled interior environments. For weather-exposed projects, please choose dedicated PE or PVC outdoor rattan.

What information do you need before quotation?

Please tell us the grade, width, estimated quantity, intended application, destination and any packing requirement. This helps us recommend the suitable product option before quotation.。

Can I choose A, B or C grade?

Yes. Grades mainly relate to appearance, color consistency and natural variation. Please share where the webbing will be visible on your finished product, and we will help recommend the suitable grade.

What widths and roll length are available?

Common widths are 18, 20, 24, 30, 32 and 36 inches. The standard roll length is 50 ft / 15.24 m. Please confirm the required width before quotation

Can I cut the webbing to fit my furniture panel?

Yes. Please allow enough material for fixing and trimming, then select the roll width according to your finished panel size.

Will every roll have exactly the same color?

No. Natural rattan can vary in color tone, nodes and fibre texture by grade and batch. These are normal characteristics of natural materials.

How is the mesh packed for shipment?

Packing is confirmed according to the selected roll format, order quantity and destination. Please include any special packing request in your inquiry.

Do you provide samples for natural rattan?

For natural rattan materials, we provide real product photos and specification confirmation before ordering.

Specialized machinery separates each rattan stick into its core and peel components. The rattan peel, which becomes our weaving material, is then processed into precise 2.2–2.5mm strips. This mechanical process requires constant calibration and skilled operation to maintain consistency.

Final Solar Drying & Packaging

All completed webbing undergoes natural solar drying to achieve optimal moisture content for long-term stability. The drying process takes 2–3 days depending on weather conditions, after which we carefully package each roll for safe international shipment.

Our solar drying facility covers 2,000㎡ with adjustable ventilation and weather protection. Each roll is positioned and monitored to ensure uniform drying without warping or cracking.
